You use to be able to purchase them from the Vans On-line store. Not sure if you still can.

Yep, my son has a pair. I got them last year or so ago. Sadly they're too small for me (4 1/2 in kids) cuz my son outgrew them, but now I'm just keeping them for my collection. [img]smile.gif[/img] I'm sure I could sell them on ebay but I just can't seem to part with anything that has to do with SxDx. I'm sure some of ya agree with that! [img]wink.gif[/img]

I got a pair of the low ones last year,i just called hot topic and orderd them,after i seen a pair going for 70 bucks on ebay.

The low ones are actually the ones I like best.
Looking at all the Vans artist models (Social D, No Doubt, Slayer, Bad Religion, Motorhead) the Social D model is the most old-school and best-looking.
Although I do prefer the simple Vans slip-on's...can't go wrong with them!

My SD old schools are my pride and joy, although beer stained and run down after too many late nights in them.
Interesting fact, a friend of mine was married in a pair of SD high tops with a suit, loked good.
